A Case of Castleman's Disease of the Neck

Abstract
Castleman's disease is rare entity which is characterized by its histologic features: hyperplasia of lymph node
and capillary proliferation. Two distinct histological patterns has been described hyaline-vascular type and
plasma-cell type. The former is more common. It presents as only an asymptomatic mass but the latter shows
systemic manifestation especially anemia, fever. We present a case of hyaline-vascular type of Castleman's disease
restricted to the neck, who underwent successful surgical excision.
